Brenda Song hangs out with a gal pal while hitting up the shops at Westfield Mall on Saturday afternoon in Canoga Park, Calif. The two made stops in Urban Outfitters, Brandy Melville and more. Looks like she picked up some cool things!

Brenda is currently working on her new NBC pilot, Table for Three. She’ll star as Cricket in the show about Pen (Christine Woods), a responsible, guarded, brilliant but emotionally challenged Harvard Medical School graduate who just returned from a stint with Doctors Without Borders to discover that her beloved dentist dad, Robert, has become engaged to Pen’s high school classmate Holly (Nicky Whelan) – a 29 year old bubbly, gorgeous, blonde who just happened to be the “mean girl” in high school.

Brenda Song is in a new pilot for NBC! Here’s the description from Yahoo News…Now why do I mention this now? Well you see, the filming of the pilot episode was last night in LA, and I was there. The other two girls Christine Woods and Nicky Whelan are also both really pretty and they really reminded me of Demi & Tiffany / Sonny & Tawni. The show itself was very well done and I would really like to see this show picked up for a full season… or five. xD

Brenda Song the American actress was caught outside the Staples Center in Los Angeles by the paparazzi after a Lakers game and was asked a lot of questions.

You can check out the video below and see Brenda being chased by the paparazzi as they throw several questions at her.  She does mention in the video that she is a huge Lakers fan and likes Kobe Bryant the best.  The soon-to-be 24-year-old made her way into the game while showing her spirit in a Lakers colored plaid button-up while holding onto her purple and gold foam finger.  Song began to playing the lead female role London Tipton in the Disney Series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and the Suite Life on Deck.  The actress is also known for her romantic link with Trace Cyrus brother to singer/actress Miley Cyrus.

Brenda Song and Trace Cyrus are clearly serious in their relationship. Now Trace confirmed to People that she inspires him musically in every way, even if the songs may not be about her. This comes along after more people have raised their eyebrows about her engagement to Trace and with baby rumors surfacing up again, even though her family has denied them since late summer. As for what Trace had to say about her and his music, here it is.

My fiancée inspires me tremendously. Not every song’s written directly about her, but whenever I’m in the studio, I’m constantly thinking about her.

While some of you don’t support their relationship, I do want to say that they do seem to be cute together. The fact that she inspires him is beyond sweet. He and his new band (Ashland High) kicked off their first tour last month, it is nice to see that he keeps her in his thoughts. They are a unique couple to say at the very least. I do hope that they can indeed go far and be happy together. That is something that they both could use.

Do you think Trace’s comment about his fiancée is sweet or not? I know some might not agree or understand, or even believe him. But I want to give them the benefit of a doubt. They have been together for almost a year (if not longer if they kept it a secret for longer) and I haven’t heard anything bad about them. Yes, they are polar opposites, but that is what helps make them so interesting my opinion. If they were just like each other, it would not be as a fun story as it is now. What do you think?
